Dogs

Canine Natural Medicine

Dogs are probably our closest non-human companions. They siphon off a great deal of our stresses and anxieties. Perhaps for this reason, they appear to suffer some very similar disease patterns.

They respond well to natural medicine, with positive outcomes in many very intractable conditions. Each dog patient receives advice on natural feeding and each receives a chiropractic check, with manipulation offered if necessary.

Diseases and conditions that we are commonly asked to treat are:

heart disease, kidney disease (renal problems, chronic renal failure, CRF), lameness, back problems, spondylosis, disc disease (PID, P.I.D.), cruciate injury (cruciate ligament), skin problems, allergy, atopy, pyoderma, eczema, epilepsy, CDRM (C.D.R.M.), paralysis, auto-immune disease (autoimmune), cancer, warts, adenoma, sarcoma, carcinoma, histiocytoma, melanoma, spindle cell tumour, mast cell tumour, liver disease (hepatopathy), Cushings disease (Cushing's syndrome), hip dysplasia, dry eye (keratitis sicca - keratoconjunctivitis sicca - KCS), syringomyelia, interdigital cysts, false pregnancy, gastro-enteritis, colitis (IBD, IBS), osteoarthritis, travel sickness, ear problems (otitis externa, otitis media), vestibular syndrome (canine 'stroke'), vaccination problems.
